DESCRIPTION:Call to Meeting: Endorsements\nA Message from the Chair\nHi Everyone\, \nWe look forward to hosting you via Zoom for our Monday\, May 18 Endorsements Meeting at 7pm. You will need to pre-register for the meeting\, which you can do here: \nRegister Here \nThis endorsement meeting will be different than ones in the past\, not just because we are meeting virtually. \nCandidates meeting a 60% threshold (among eligible voters) will receive an endorsement\, but due to limitations of technology and budget\, there will be no secret balloting. Instead\, eligible members in good standing and PCOs (elected and appointed) will indicate their preferences using the Zoom’s yes/no voting features. \nEach individual nominated for an endorsement will receive a yes/no vote\, with those candidates receiving the most “yes” votes moving on to the next round of voting until two candidates remain. Should no candidate meet the 60% threshold\, a motion may be considered for dual endorsement. \nThe Executive Board unanimously approved these small changes to retain the vast majority of our previous endorsements rules.
