May Membership Meeting

Our May Membership Meeting is on Monday May 21, 7:00pm at the Rainier Valley Cultural Center, 3515 S Alaska St. Seattle, 98118.  This month we will be holding our Endorsements meeting for all races that will appear on the ballot in the primary and general election this year. Any member who has paid their dues by April 26 can vote at this meeting.  Check back here for further update including copies of the Agenda and a list of races and candidates to be considered for endorsement.

9th CD Caucus Elects National Delegates

The 9th Congressional District caucus elected their seven delegates to the Democratic National Convention and our one elector to the Electoral College today.  Four of the seven delegates are members of the 37th District Democrats as is the Elector.  Congratulations to Tandy Williams, Louis Watanabe, Sameer Ranade and Michael Wolfe on being elected Delegates to the DNC in Charlotte, and to Georgia Spencer on being elected to be our Elector!

The other 9th Congressional District Delegates to the DNC are Sandra Castell and Al Garmen from the 41st District Democrats and Jennifer Minich from the 33rd District Democrats.
